The CAPiTA Super Corporation is a Seattle-based snowboard
company that was formed by Jason Brown and Blue Montgomery in 2000, with the help of artists including Human05, Ephka, Dustin Krysak and Corey Smith.
Capita focuses on the progressive freestyle market. In 2005, the company reissued the "Black Snowboard Of Death" under the name of "Black Death Speed Tribe", which won the Transworld Snowboarding's coveted "Good Wood" award in 2001.
Their freestyle/jib specific boards including the Stairmaster, Scaremaster, Stairmaster extreme, Indoor Survival and Midlife Photo have won many TransWorld awards.
Capita sponsors professional snowboarders including: TJ Schneider, Dan Brisse, Dustin Craven, Scott Stevens, and Laura Hadar
