Canoeing races at the 2012 Summer Olympics

are scheduled to be held from 29 July to 2 August (slalom) and from 6-11 August (sprint). The slalom events will be held at Lee Valley White Water Centre and the sprint events at Eton Dorney. Total of 330 athletes are expected to take part. The men’s 500 metre races will be replaced by 200m. In addition, men’s C2 500m will be replaced by women’s K1 200m. This was confirmed at a 2009 International Canoe Federation
