Cameron Smedley

Cameron Smedley is a canoeist from Canada who has competed in the World Championships (2009). He is a member of the Canadian National Whitewater Slalom Team.

Competition

Cameron competes in the C-1 category, which is solo canoeing. At the Canadian Slalom Team Trials 2009, he earned a position on the Canadian team. This qualified him to compete on behalf of Canada at the 2009 World Cup Races, and World Championships.

As a Junior competitor, Cameron placed 9th in the finals of the 2008 Junior World Championships.

Education

Cameron attended West Carleton Secondary School located in Dunrobin, Ontario, and graduated in 2008.

He is currently attending Carleton University, and is enrolled in Mechanical Engineering.
