, Exning Road and Fen Ditton) had no raised platforms and consisted of little more than a sign. A special carriage was fitted with steps and passengers for these halts were asked to travel in this carriage.

Passenger services

Beginning with four to five return trains a day, by 1949 there were four and down to three in 1953. In July 1958 railbuses operated the route; some of these vehicles are now at the North Norfolk Railway

Closure

The line was closed to passengers on 18 June 1962 and to goods on 13 July 1964 apart from the section from Fordham to Burwell that closed on 19 April 1965.
