However, despite enjoying a fairly fruitful partnership with fellow Senegalese striker Papa N'Diaye (they scored 40 goals between them in the 2005-06 season), N'Diaye left the club as Al Akhdar decided not to renew N'Diaye's contract. Sanosar struggled in the 2006-07 season, and was sold to Al Ahly Benghazi
