They performed as part of the presidential inaugural in 1977, and as the soundtrack for R O Blechman's 1978 PBS holiday special Simple Gifts. They recorded an album Calliope Dances: A Renaissance Revel with Vanguard in 1982. An album Calliope Festival followed in 1984, with Diversions released in 1990. The band recorded Peter Schickele
