CAB International

CAB International is a not-for-profit inter-governmental organisation based in the United Kingdom.

CABI was established in 1910 and is owned by 45 member countries. It has three divisions, each undertaking different activities relating to scientific research. CABI has offices around the world, including USA, Switzerland, Pakistan, Malaysia and Africa. The head office is in Wallingford, England.

Projects and consultancy - CABI undertakes a variety of projects worldwide addressing agricultural and environmental issues. The main areas it focuses on are commodities, invasive species and scientific communication. Specific projects include diagnosing plant and pest problems, developing control methods and teaching farmers best practice in the field.
