Constantin George Săndulescu, (born 11 February 1933) is a Joycean
scholar. His education includes a BA degree (Bucharest), M.Phil. (Leeds) and Ph.D. (Essex). He taught at Bucharest University
between 1962-1969. He has lived, worked, and conducted research and teaching in major institutions in Romania, Sweden, Great Britain, the United States and Italy. After the death in 1983 of Princess Grace of Monaco, he substantially assisted in founding the Monaco library bearing her name
