History

The club Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana was founded on January 14, 1961.

In the 2000 Copa Perú, The club classified to the Regional Stage, but was eliminated when remain in third place by the group of the Region III.

In the 2003 Copa Perú and 2004 Copa Perú, the club classified to the National Stage but was eliminated by the Abraham Valdelomar of Ica
