Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students

The Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students (BASES) is a student group at Stanford University
focusing on business and entrepreneurial activities. The group, the largest student group at Stanford, organizes the flagship BASES 150K business plan competition, in addition to a variety of public lectures, workshops, and training camps.
BASES was founded in 1996 by a group of five Stanford engineers. The organization works in partnership with many of Silicon Valley's most prominent venture capitalists and law firms to provide a variety of entrepreneurial services to Stanford students and is recognized as among the most influential entrepreneurial organizations in Silicon Valley.

Teams must include at least one full-time Stanford student, but participation is not restricted to the Stanford community. Past winners include:
