Buksnes church

Buksnes church (Buksnes Kirke) is in the village of Gravdal which was formerly part of Buksnes municipality. Previously churches built on this site had been destroyed. The church consecrated in 1885 was ignited by lightning and burned down in 1903. Buksnes church was built of timber, with 600 seats. It was inaugurated on 22 November 1905 and restored between 1965 and 1967. The architect for the church was Karl Norum (1852-1911).
