Bruno Vanryb is a French entrepreneur born in 1957.

A former sound engineer, author (12 computers and software oriented books published by Eyrolles) and journalist, who is passionate about computers, new technologies and modern art, Bruno Vanryb is the President and co-founder, with Roger Politis, of Avanquest Software, one of the world’s leading software publishers. Along with his association-related activities, Bruno Vanryb, together with Roger Politis, co-founder of BVRP, today Avanquest Software, has built up one of the greatest French successes in the area of software development and publishing. Since 1984 this small company, which began by developing communication and mobility software, has become one of the leading actors in the world software market.

On July 12, 2007, Bruno Vanryb was named to the Board of Directors of Euronext Paris

Created in 2000 when Euronext was established, the Board issues opinions on regulatory changes, acceptance or write-off of financial instruments, changes to the management and structure of security ratings, market developments that structure the marketplace, whether technical or commercial, and the approval of new members.

Bruno Vanryb writes a personal blog “Journal d’un Entrepreneur” (Entrepreuner’s diary) and editorials for Challenges Magazine in which he expresses his entrepreneur’s point of view on topics related to the real economics and the life of the City. He’s also one of the regulars Experts invited by Stéphane Soumier, the journalist in charge of one of major morning show on the French National Business Radio, BFM.
