Brokenhead Ojibway Nation is governed by the Act Electoral System of government. The current leadership is Chief Deborah Grace "Debbie" Chief and Councillors Paul Harvey Chief, Winston DesJarlais, Allen "Sam" Hocaluk and Remi Elliot Olson. The Chief's and Councillors' two-year elected term began on April 19, 2010, and will conclude on April 18, 2012.
