Mission

The British Monarchist League website states:

"The formation of this league is an educated reaction to the concerns of the rising power of the European Union along with the Republican agenda and its affects on the United Kingdom, its constitution, and its monarchy."

"The aim of the British Monarchist League is to promote the case for constitutional monarchy which is important to our stabillity and peace as a nation, and to provide information and assistance to those who request it."

The British Monarchist League have countered the beliefs of Republic at many times, openly rejecting Republic's estimate of the cost of the monarchy as 183.3 million a year, explaining various examples as to where an elected President would cost more without being able to give the ceremonial role the Queen has at the moment.

They also openly criticised the protest of Republic at Buckingham Palace over royal funds, calling it in context, illegal and unnecessary.
