Bridie has a passion for the arts given her upbringing in inner city Melbourne and spending much of her childhood in theatres such as La Mama and The Pram Factory. In her spare time she loves to write, she also lends a helping hand to charity organisations, and is an ambassador for One Water and her drama school NIDA.

Personal life
In early May 2004 Bridie married clothing designer, Michael Wilson, they have two sons together, Otis Wilson (born 29 March 2005) and Tobias (born April, 2010).
