Conservative news organizations were quick to point out in response that Stelter's own primary blog, (The New York Times' Media Decoder), suffers from one of the lowest percentage of African-American readers when ranked to comparable media sites. In response, Stelter tweeted that it was an irrelevant comparison and accused Fox News PR people of planting news stories.
