The kick to the groin occurred with 4:59 remaining in the second quarter on a field goal attempt. During the play Robison got dumped on his head by a block from T.J. Lang. While still on the ground from being dumped on his head, Robison did an up kick to T.J. Lang's nether region. A 15 yard personal foul was thrown by the referee. Robison was later fined $20,000 for the incedent. On the "Off the Mark" segment of ESPN's NFL Live airing October 26, 2011, Mark Schlereth suggested that Robison "get a hair cut and psychiatric evaluation" for his actions. With his long hair and enthusiasm for kicking, NFL fans and observers project that Robison might have a shot with the Rockettes after his football career is over. Later Robison appologized for the kick via Twitter and T.J. Lang accepted the apology via Twitter.
