Biography

Brian fronted the group DDT which blended punk, ska, and rap. The band was signed by Lars Ulrich from Metallica’s label through Elektra in the late 90s. DDT’s Urban Observer album was supported by the first single "Walkabout". While making the DDT record, Brian discovered a passion for songwriting and production. In 2003, his band Closure

Songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, A&R professional and studio owner; Los Angeles/Vancouver based Brian Howes has been involved in the music industry for over 25 years.

Produced and wrote Hedley’s “Cha Ching”, “Don’t Talk to Strangers” and “Perfect”, all multi-Platinum singles on a double platinum album. Currently producing/writing LP4 for the band.

Produced/co-wrote with Rock Band "Skillet" (Grammy nominated and Certified Gold in the US).
Co-wrote #1 single "Awake and Alive".
