Brasier was the successor of the early French Richard-Brasier
automobile
maker that had been in business since 1902. The name of the make was simplified to Brasier when Georges Richard
left in 1905 to found Unic
. Before World War I
, several twin, four and six-cylinder models were offered. Production was resumed in 1919 with a 3404 cc model, and from 1920 to 1926, a 2120 cc model was produced. The cars made after 1926 are known under the name of Chaigneau-Brasier
. The later company closed down in 1930.
