, the only robust occurrence of Brachyuranochampsa is B. eversolei from Wyoming . Another species, B. zangerli from the lower Bridger Formation at Grizzly Buttes, has been synonymized with another primitive crocodyloid, "Crocodylus" affinis, also known from the Bridger Formation
