 was contracted to perform lead vocals. He was offered the spot permanently but declined due to his focus to getting his own band, Jaded Heart, signed to a record deal and because he became the lead singer of Bonfire

. This was Bormann's first English recording to be released, although the album he did with the J.R. Blackmore Group was done two years earlier but released after this one.
