The massacre

of complicity in the attacks. Subsequent judicial inquiries found no evidence of National Party or police involvement in the massacre. However, talks resumed following the Bisho massacre
on 7 September 1992, to avoid more massacres.
The massacre drew the attention of the United Nations Security Council
