. This is seen by most as a positive due to the high standard of fit-out, service and entertainment in all his venues. However, criticism has been voiced due to his increasing monopoly in Waterford City. Many students in the area have raised the point that prices in some of his establishments (namely nightclubs Rubys and Oxygen) have been slowly raised over the past number of years as compared to other venues in the city, making Waterford one of the most expensive cities in Ireland for nightlife.
