, admission to the stand costs a shilling (also known as a bob), which gave the stand its name. It is a single-level grandstand with about 20 rows of seating; with an iron roof (painted green), and a clock tower.
Redevelopment at the SCG in the 1980s saw the stand taken down, to be replaced by the Bill O'Reilly Stand. The grandstand was then rebuilt in the northeast corner at North Sydney Oval.
