) is a Welsh
footballer who played for most of his career in the 1970s, with the majority of his league appearances coming at Rotherham United
and Chester
.
from Barry Town
in February 1970, although he had to wait until a move to Carlisle United
a year later for his professional debut. Spells on loan with Workington

followed, before moving to Chester
in October 1975, where he was a favourite with the fans thanks to his 'hard man' approach.
In December 1978, Delgado was sold to Port Vale
for £30,000. He made his debut on Boxing Day

. He earned a first team spot, which he held on to until February 1980. His contract was cancelled in May 1980 and he moved on to Welsh team Oswestry Town
