. Its population (2005) is 456. The triangle shaped island of the coast is "Bleiksøya". This island is the biggest resort of puffins in the whole of Norway. Not far from Bleik is "Andenes" and "Stave".
Bleik has the longest beach in Norway, and its said that the beach is the reason for the villages name, because the beach is white, and "Bleik" is a word for white/pale in Norwegian. In the village, you will find a village house, a horse barn, a school, and a small convenience store. Tourist information, Puffin Safari and pubs are also on sight in the village. Fishing license available. There are no ATM's.
