Early life

BlackMask was born Anthony Lamar Coleman in West Palm Beach, Florida. The oldest of two boy's born to the musically inclined family of Edwin and Cheryl Coleman. Older brother of Edwin Coleman Jr. He is of African American and Native American descent. In 1996, a then 17 year old BlackMask was charged as an adult with consensual lude and lascivious conduct on his 14 year old high school girlfriend. All those not a felon he would have to register under Florida state law. This would further push him to win.

2001 Mysonic Seal (2000)

After taking time off from music to have his first child and serve a one year jail sentence for violation of probation. BlackMask released his seconded offering featuring local West Palm Beach emcees. The album was sold threw Mom & Pop's retail outlets and it would be the album that got the attention of several South Florida labels.

1-900BlackMask (2004)

This album was 95% produced by BlackMask himself. The album was recorded 2 weeks before his signed off on the Luke Records / Universal contract. His first single and video off of this album was called "Shake Yo Thang Thang" which was also off of the "My Big Phat Hip Hop Family" movie sound track. B.E.T.

 Uncut put this video in heavy rotation. "Your Love" would be his follow up single and video that would also make it into rotation on B.E.T. Uncut. Luke would later block the release of this album due to his album releasing the same quarter. BlackMask would leave his imprint 2 months later.

Power (2006)

This is the first group album that BlackMask had recorded with his group called the "Watchmen". This album would not be released until after they signed a management deal with Wu-Tang Management in January 2010. The album hit stores 1-11-11.

Assassination Order (MixTape - March 2010)

This mixtape was released as the introduction of the Watchmen as Wu-Tang Affiliates. The mixtape was titled as a Platinum City Ent. / Wu-Tang Management project.

Wu-Nited States: Sword Of Glory (Summer 2010)

The first compilation from Platinum City Entertainment and Wu-Tang Management. The album featured a number of Wu-Tang Killa Bees and Affiliates. "Gunz High" was the song featuring the group Watchmen and was produced by BlackMask. This album also featured a solo track from BlackMask called "Lotion" produced by the artist as well.

Wu-Tang Management Presents: Watchmen (October 2010)

Even those the "Power" album was recorded in 2006 the Wu-Tang Management Presents: Watchmen was the first Watchmen album to be released into stores. BlackMask and his mother Cheryl Coleman executive produced the album that featured Wu-Tang Clan's Cappadonna, Blue Raspberry, Timbo King, Zoo Keeper and Polzino of Wu-Latino. The album was released to rave reviews and would be one of the most talked about Hip Hop albums of 2010.

Savage World (2010)

BlackMask first time writing and singing on a rock album. The album was produced and co-written by one of the other Watchmen group members. The two would be known as "Savage Emceez". The first single "One Of Us" video was directed by indie film producer Gary Davis.

Guillotine Rap (2012)

BlackMask first solo album in 8 years. This is part of an album trilogy, "Guillotine Rap", "There Will Be Blood" and "War With Self: Anthony Coleman Vs BlackMask" all to be released in 2012.
