The academic curriculum at Bishop Guilfoyle includes classes, honors classes, AP classes and dual enrollment classes affiliated with three post-secondary institutions. Extracurricular programs include interscholastic sports, music, drama, forensics, yearbook, student council, and a variety of club activities. It has over 9,000 successful alumni and the class of 2007 was no exception. Approximately 90% of that class went on to higher education being offered over $2 million in academic scholarships.

. Their final overall record was an impressive 31-1. The Lady Marauder's then won the single A state championship again during the 2008-2009 season, finishing with a 31-1 record. The Lady Marauders returned to the Bryce Jordan Center during the 2009-2010 season to play for their third single A state title in four years after winning the LHAC Championship and District 6 title. They defeated Northern Camberia 49-29 to win the state title and cap off a undefeated, 30-0, season.

 team won the District 6 Championship on November 5th. This was the first time they won it since 2000. It was the 3rd time in school history. Led by 9 seniors, the Girls Volleyball team then went to the State Championship Tournament in York, Pennsylvania

 at Central York High School. They made it all the way to the semi-finals which was held on Saturday, November 12th and lost to Clarion High School. They ended their season as the 3rd best team in the state of Pennsylvania
