The convertible version of VW Golf MK I , named the Golf Cabriolet (or Typ 155) in Europe and Canada ("Rabbit Convertible" in America originally and renamed in 1985 to "Cabriolet"), was sold from 1980 to 1993.

The special version this article covers was produced by ACM in Italy with Golf MKI Cabriolet shell adapting Golf MKII Country engine and transmission, and with minor modifications in headlights, roof, and back, in order to improve offroad capabilities , and sold as "Biagini Passo".
