Bezawada Bapa Naidou was grandson of Bezawada Bapanaya, the first Mayor of Yanam. He was one of the two powerful political leaders in Yanam during French rule. Death

Unfortunately, he was murdered in Pondicherry. It was a mystery about his murder. It was considered that he knows the real culprits behind the murder of Monsieur Selvaraj Chettiar. Actually, it was told that he had an insurance policy for him. So, his family members gave statement that he had natural death in order to get that money.

After his death his faction became weak and even his siblings were also not able to continue in Yanam politics as he did. There was a street named Bezawada in Yanam. Even Today we can find a portrait of Monsieur Bezawada in the municipal hall at Yanam.
