 founded by award-winning independent filmmaker Nino Simone in 2001. The festival debuted in 2001, and has shown regular growth each year. Entering its seventh year, BHFF is an international competition showcasing emerging filmmakers.

The Beverly Hills Film Festival, or The BHFF as it is known, claims to play host over a five (5) day affair with over twenty thousand (20,000) attendees.
