Background

Founded in 1961 Betsele Idrottsförening provides football for men, women, boys and girls. The club also has a table tennis section. The club's football ground and clubhouse is located in the village of Ågläntan which is just over a mile from Lycksele.

Since their foundation Betsele IF has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system
