. In early May, Revere was called up to Minnesota to play left field for the injured Delmon Young
. Soon after Young's return, Span went on the seven day disabled list with a concussion. As a result, Revere was given another position to play.
One of Revere's most notable plays was during the Twins' 2-1 loss against the Kansas City Royals
on July 15, 2011. After hitting the ball to deep right field, Revere tripped between second and third base. Revere did a somersault, got back up with his helmet off, and safely made it to third base.
When in the starting line-up, Revere usually bats lead-off for the Twins.
