After Ben was delisted by the Lions, AFLQ club Labrador Tigers appointed Fixter as Club Development Manager and player, where he would stay for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. After the 2009 season, Ben would return to New South Wales to play for Ovens and Murray Football League club Albury
