Baswich

Baswich is an estate in the south eastern side of Stafford
in the parish of Berkswich
. It is situated next to Weeping Cross but should not be confused with Weeping Cross.
Baswich is defined by the Postal Service as the left hand side of Baswich Lane and the housing estate in the area directly behind. Holy Trinity Church is on the left hand side of the road and is thus in Baswich. Strangely, those houses on the right hand side are officially neither in Baswich or Weeping Cross.
Baswich amenities are a local Co-op store and an independent hairdressers. The majority of Baswich is private housing.
The number one bus serves both Baswich and Weeping Cross, though mainly the latter, for there are only three bus stops on the left hand side of the main road for Baswich. Nevertheless, the number one bus is still referred to as the 'Baswich bus'.
