Basil Hadley

Basil Hadley was born in London, England, UK and came to Australian in 1965. A successful print maker and painter, Basil's works are represented in National and State public galleries around Australia and in various private collections.

Basil was known well known for exploring various styles and techniques. Humour, abstract, the Australian landscape, birds and cats, were common themes seen in his work.

From 1975 until his death, Basil resided in Stepney, Adelaide

The estate of the late Basil Hadley, including paintings, graphics and book collection were auctioned by Elder Fine Art, North Adelaide in 2007.
