Celebrating 125 years

On August 20 2011 Basco Illinois turned 125 years old. So with Basco turning 125 the town couldn't resist having a party so with much help and support from nice volunteers. The Basco parade was one heck of a parade it had over 75 entrees. And tons of candy for the kids. After the parade was the car show. There was a lot of sweet cars there. And at one o'clock the kids game and cake walk. Then at two was the free throw contest. Also they had a pedal tractor pull. After all games were through at 9:00 o'clock Basco had a firework extravaganza (Basco was once popular for its fireworks show.) After the fireworks it was party hard all night long with Stagered. The next day at eight was a church service and digging up the time capsule
