Barry Jonathan Clayton Woodroffe, SBS

served from 1989 until his retirement in 1999 as the Commissioner of Rating and Valuation.
Woodroffe joined the Hong Kong Government as a Rating and Valuation Surveyor in January 1966. He was promoted to Senior Rating and Valuation Surveyor in October 1971, to Principal Rating and Valuation Surveyor in December 1974, to Assistant Commissioner of Rating and Valuation in January 1979 and to Deputy Commissioner of Rating and Valuation in November 1985.
On October 16, 1989, he was promoted to Commissioner of Rating and Valuation, where he remained until his retirement in 1999 after 33 years of government service.
