One of Barry's great moments was a victory in the annual Midnight Sun Game in 1964. Barry defeated the host Alaska Goldpanners of Fairbanks by a score of 10 to 5. 2,500 people were on hand to witness Barry's win. By finishing at 2:34 am local time, this game is in the record books for one of the latest finishing games in amateur baseball history.
