History

The station was opened as part of the branch line from New Holland to Barton-on-Humber in 1849.

Services

Services call here between approximately 0645 and 2200 Monday to Saturday, on a two-hourly frequency each way. Services call infrequently (four each way) from 1030 until 1840 at this station on summer Sundays (no service in winter).
