. It was created on 20 January 1931 for the accountant Sir William Plender, 1st Baronet. He had already been created a Baronet, of Ovenden in Sundridge in the County of Kent, in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom in 1923. The titles became extinct on his death on 19 January 1946.
