and in 1997 accredited as a higher educational institution.

Lectures at BA School of Business and Finace are delivered by highly qualified practitioners in the area thus ensuring connection of study courses with topical issues and demands in the current market situation. It combines theory and practice, creating a strong link with the real business world, providing practical and professional foundation for our study programmes.

Students can broaden their outlook and acquire additional knowledge and competences in different courses related to the starting of entrepreneurship, business etiquette, acquisition of foreign languages for special purposes, intercultural communication etc. offered by Further Educational programme.

One of the factors fostering international cooperation is lectures delivered by guest lecturers. Students have the opportunity to participate in open discussions and public lectures provided by well-known Latvian and foreign practitioniers about socially topicat issues.

BA School of Business and Finace provides students with possibility to participate in international projects, business case studies, international business weeks, Euroweek international business research conferences and many other projects.

Students have the opportunity to become a member of BA School of Business and Finance Debate club and to develop their public speaking skills, thinking, resourcefulness and knowledge which allows students to express their opinion and convince others about it.

Students have the opportunity to study as exchange ERASMUS students in foreign countries by joining international cooperational programmes which envisage studies at other foreign universities. EU Lifelong Learning Programme - ERASMUS provides students with the possibility to apply for a 3 up to 10 month study grant in order to studyat BA School of Business and Finance partner universities.

Today BA School of Business and Finace offers undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate programmes in Economics and Entrepreneurship, Business Administration and Finance. The study processes have gained an explicit international dimension. Graduates are nationally and internationally recognized entrepreneurs, managers, consultants, experts and professionals.
