Bandung Alliance International School (BAIS) is located in Kota Baru Parahyangan

since 1995, BAIS is a private, non-profit school established primarily to serve the international community of Bandung. BAIS offers an education based on the American philosophy of education from a Christian perspective for students from pre-school through grade 12. Students graduating from BAIS are well-prepared for entry into English-speaking universities throughout the world.
(NICS) took over management of the school in 1995 and the first graduating senior class was in 2001. After that students came pouring in to a point of having not enough room to hold them all. So after an extensive search for available property, BAIS purchased a 3.5-hectare lot in Kota Baru Parahyangan in 2007, a new development on the outskirts of Bandung.

History
In 1956 the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) started the Bandung Alliance International School (BAIS) in the Ciumblueit area of Bandung. It was designed to serve up to 80 students, grades 1 - 6, in a 2-story classroom building. As the years passed, the number of students gradually increased and the school added a third floor to the classroom building. The extra space added room for secondary classes, increased space in the office building, and added a sports field. Current situation
Construction on the classroom/office building was completed in July 2008 with classes starting in August for the 2008-2009 school year. The campus is 20% finished and trees have yet to flourish. The complete BAIS campus was designed with a long-term vision and will be an ongoing project for years to come, but new building are 10 years away from being completed. The school is currently working on the construction of the soccer field, with plans to start the office building, auditorium, gymnasium, and swimming pool in the future. It has a current enrollment is approximately 185 students Preschool 3 - 12th grade.Facilities of BAIS
