There is a temple in this place called Balussery Kotta - Vettakkorumakan Temple (just 2 km from bus stand ). The Manjapuzha River flows by the side of the temple. There are a number of small temples such as Ponnaramtheru Maha Ganapathy Temple, Chamundeswary Temple, Vaikundam Vishnu Temple, Chinthramangalam SreeKrishna Temple, Ellath Mookambika Temple & Narasimha Kshethram Nirmaloor exist here.
