Swimming Pool

The school has an outdoor pool which is used by the athletic teams and physical education classes during the academic year; then it becomes a free public pool operated by the City of Jacksonville Parks & Recreation Department during the summer months.

Football

One notable player from the football team's history is Damien Postell who was recruited to the Auburn Tigers in 1998.
Another Joe Graham went to UTEP.
Earl Fouraker Sr. who was recruited by Florida State in 1970.

CJ Crews recruited by Jacksonville University in 2009.
