A quiet getaway, Bagan Nakhoda has a good combination of sun, sand and sea, the no-frills way. For meals, you can check out the hawker stalls at the beach and have your meals accompanied by a refreshing breeze.

Visitors are welcome at a number of batik factories and the night market unique and peculiar to the district. Tourists may also savour seafood at several warung ikan bakar (grilled fish stalls).
