, according to European Courts. It is marketed as "Just Cool". The car, priced at about $6,700 USD, reportedly gets 56 miles per US gallon. The car benefited from the 2008 Chinese stimulus plan.

As a small city car BYD F0 is stylish and popular among young people in China. It is generally considered beautiful and received a lot of positive evaluation from auto media in China. Typically, lack of understanding of engineering systems and incorrect selection of materials and properties has meant that the 'clone' cars have substantially worse crash signatures than the genuine, original versions.

Its 998 cc gas engine produces a 50 kW at 6000 rpm and top Torque of 90 newton metre from 4000 rpm to 4500 rpm. This engine can accelerate the car from 0 to 100 km/h(62 mph) in 12.80 seconds.
