s. There are three famous temples in this village: Anjumurthy temple, Thrimpallur temple and Kochu Thampratti temple. The name 'Ayiroor' itself originates from 'Anjumurthy', which means five idols.

In the Ayiroor village, a place named 'Ayroor' located more than 100 Feet above the sea level,is one of the beautiful place to watch. Hills and valleys and the famous St.Thomas Church are main attractions of Ayroor. The Lake and Sea views from the Church compound is really unforgettable. One of the oldest school in the village - St.Thomas U.P.S, also situated here.
