Avongrove is a private housing estate in the west of Hamilton
which was built between 1980 and 1996. The estate is situated in one of the highest parts of the town and has views across Clydesdale
towards Motherwell, and the Clyde Valley.
All of the buildings in Avongrove itself are privately owned houses, with the exception of a petrol station.
The area has transport links with Hamilton town centre and a half-hourly direct bus service to Glasgow
and other destinations accessible via Hamilton town centre.
