 project is completed (expected in 2016 or 2018), it will interface with the Green Line just west of this station. The Crenshaw Line service will not use this station. However, this station will change its service pattern at this time, since the Green Line will be split into two branches. The southern branch will follow the current Green Line route to Redondo Beach station: the northern branch will follow a new route to the new Aviation/Century station. Additionally, the Aviation/LAX station will be renamed "Aviation/Imperial" (since the "Aviation/Century" station will become the primary station for LAX transfers).
